Who is Professor Robert Sternberg?
Among his major contributions to Psychology, Professor Robert Sternberg created The Triarchic Theory of Intelligence, a conception of intelligence more broadly and focused on the
challenges of reality, beyond the analytical skills so emphasized at school. He is a Psychology professor at Cornell University and a past president of the American Psychological Association
[APA]. Professor Robert Sternberg has won more than two dozen professional awards; and has been ranked, in the APA Monitor on Psychology, as one of the top 100 psychologists of the 20th century. He has written more than 1,800 articles, book chapters, and books.
