About the Journal

The Brazilian Journal of High Ability/Giftedness is a publication that operates under the aegis of the members of the Brazilian Council for Giftedness (ConBraSD), following a blind peer review process and adhering to an open access approach. Its main objective is to provide a platform for individuals and academics engaged in talent development, giftedness and high potential research, allowing them to share their knowledge with academic communities. The journal aims to expand and enhance the existing body of educational literature as observed and documented by practitioners and scholars in the field.

Spanning diverse disciplines such as educational psychology, curriculum and instruction, teacher education, and educational leadership, Brazilian Journal of High Abilities/Giftedness features the work of researchers from diverse backgrounds. It particularly values articles that offer insights into authors' research processes at different stages of development. By accepting different forms of academic writing, including research articles (qualitative and quantitative), literature reviews, essays, experience reports and interviews, the journal offers scholars and professionals in the field of high abilities or giftedness and talents, opportunities to publish Your jobs.

Brazilian Journal of High Abilities/Giftedness is aligned with ConBraSD's mission by emphasizing contributions that seek to improve education and social systems. Its objective is to promote more effective, equitable and socially just practices for educators and professionals in the field of talent development, high abilities and giftedness. Eevista encourages perspectives from various theoretical lenses and local communities. In addition, it actively promotes collaboration and relationships between authors and colleagues, creating a space for the exchange of wisdom, innovation and creativity. By its open access nature, the journal ensures that it remains a valuable resource for current and future professionals.

Original and unpublished qualitative, quantitative or quanti-quali research articles will be accepted for publication; literature review; essay; reports of experiences of professional practices; interviews and reviews.

The Journal adopts blind peer review as an editorial policy, equipped with the CopySpider anti-plagiarism tool (free version developed by Clever M. Teixeira). Texts may be published in Portuguese, English and Spanish. Each manuscript must present Abstracts in Portuguese, English, Spanish and in the author's mother tongue, in continuous flow mode.

The title abbreviation is Braz.Jour.HA/G., which should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, references and bibliographic legends.
